Ryan gets to second base with Fox6

WITI-TV's long, wet, sloppy kiss of Paul Ryan was just foreplay, it turns out. There's another long piece, this one a mere 6 minutes long (the first one was 9-minutes -- a quarter hour of news!)

This one purports to be more serious and tell us about Ryan's budget plan, also known as the Road to Republican Ruin, but there's still plenty of time devoted to personal anecdotes and what passes for Republican humor:
Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner, Wisconsin's longest tenured member of congress, that pushed Ryan to run for congress...

One of the lessons Sensenbrenner taught Ryan early on was to approach the serious job with a sense of humor. Sensenbrenner said, "Not only do the two of us have a sense of humor, but we're very good friends.".

The two now say they work more closely together than any two members of congress. They frequently go out to dinner, and even exchange gag gifts every Christmas. Sensenbrenner says, "I gave him for Christmas, a pooping reindeer that pooped out brown candy...I got the cow-talytic converter, because we spent thousands of tax payer dollars trying to investigate bovine flatulence, and we know a lot about that in Wisconsin."
Heartless Jim Sensenbrenner as Ryan's mentor? Who knew? That explains a lot. Sensenbrenner would throw a senior out of the life raft without a second thought.

A prolonged wet, sloppy from Milwaukee's Fox6

Milwaukee's WITI-TV, the Fox affiliate (naturally) spent a day in Washington with Paul Ryan recently and produced a documentary-length nine-minute video, titled, "Get to know political giant Republican Congressman Paul Ryan."

It is truly a love fest.  Just imagine, the report says: Ryan's communications staffer gets 100 media requests a day, but he spent ALL DAY with us!  That sets the tone for the Gee-whiz coverage.  Reporter Mike Lowe gushes so much that it reminds you of the BP oil disaster in the Gulf. You wish someone would cap it.

It's light on substance, but heavy on bio and puffery, even working in Ryan's boyish good looks, dark hair, and blue eyes.  The off-camera question to Ryan must have been something like, "Gee, Congressman, what's it like to be so handsome?"

Ryan says he has "a relationship of mutual respect " with President Obama, but the report, while mentioning Ryan being "embarrassed" by sitting in the front row for the President's devastating critique of his Road to Ruin budget plan, neglects to mention Ryan's very public and pathetic whining about it.

If Ryan decides on a kamikaze mission and runs for President, he can just show this at the convention and save all of the production money the other candidates will have to spend.
