House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan is sharpening his attack on President Barack Obama’s Medicare board as a plan “to give government the power to deny care to seniors,” in an attempt to retool Republicans’ Medicare message, Politico reports.
It's back to trying to scare seniors. The phony "death panels" worked once, but it's a new ball game now.
Under the Ryan plan, of course, seniors would have vouchers to pay for their coverage --until the money runs out. Then seniors could deny themselves care. That apparently is different from and preferable to the "rationing" Ryan is trying to scare seniors with.
